Headquartered in Arvada, Colorado, Sundyne is a dynamic and growing

support to the Sundyne compressor engineering team in support of OEM

Position Description
Performs inspections and sets quality assurance testing models for analysis of
raw materials, materials in process, and finished products. Assists in
developing quality control policies and evaluates production limitations. Work
is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to
moderately complex aspects of a project. Requires a bachelor's degree.
Typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze Sundyne's internal quality performance
Support and coordinate activities for projects with ATEX requirements
Provide internal support, including development of material test plans,
material recommendations, interpretation of material properties, etc.
Develop internal measures to ensure product conformity (Nital etch,
manufacturing inspection plans, etc.)
Perform internal audits of the Sundyne QMS, and support 3rd party audits as
necessary
Conduct root cause/corrective action process for internally generated
non-conformances
Support engineering specification reviews and provide feedback on Sundyne's
ability to conform to customer requests
Ability to temporarily flex into other quality roles (SQE, inspector,
etc.) should the need arise
Develop procedures, manuals, and other documentation for projects for
internal use
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and identify and implement
improvements individually and through leadership of project teams
Effectively plan, schedule, manage and report on multiple projects with
various deadlines and responsibility levels
Some travel, including international, required
Skills & Abilities:
Good understanding of measurement systems and measurement systems analysis
Familiarity with multiple forms of NDE
Experience with a wide variety of manufacturing processes including metal
casting, conventional machining, heat treating, fabrication, welding, etc.
Knowledge of metallurgical concepts for a range of materials
Ability to read, interpret, and critique engineering drawings and industry
standards (ASTM, API, ASME, EN Norms, etc.)
Understanding and experience with several problem solving/root cause
analysis tools (8D, A3, Ishikawa, 5 Why, etc.)
Experience auditing quality management systems
Good communication skills with both front office and manufacturing employees
Mechanical aptitude
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master's degree in metallurgical/materials or mechanical
engineering or equivalent
Working knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint * AutoCAD
5 years or more of related work experience

Compensation DetailsAnnual Salary: $80,000.00 - $98,000.00
Additional Compensation The Salary offered will be determined based on the
applicant's education, experience, skills, knowledge, abilities,
and will be compared with internal equity along with market data for this
position. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus through the
company bonus program. This position may also be eligible to receive a
Relocation bonus, payable as a taxable lump sum, in accordance with the
Sundyne Relocation Policy.
