About the Role: The primary responsibility of the Cloud DevOps Engineer is to operationally own, support, and manage Rev.io's production environments & CI/CD processes while providing best practices and training for our Engineering teams. Responsibilities
Operationally own, support, and manage Rev.io's CI/CD environment
Assist in building and maintaining highly available systems through infrastructure-as-code
Create and maintain a framework to be used for Rev.io's CI/CD Pipelines
Take on special projects as necessary
Provide best practices and training for Engineering teams around automation and CI/CD.
Qualifications
3 - 5 years experience
Experience with the Azure ecosystem
Experience migrating from Team City and Octopus Deploy to Azure DevOps (Preferred) or Github Actions
Linux/Windows server administration
Production system monitoring tools and frameworks
Experience in using CI/CD tooling (Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Azure DevOps, etc)
Experience writing automation tools and scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash, YAML, etc)
Ability to collaborate with the Engineering team as well as work independently on projects
Exceptional time management and ability to problem solve under pressure
Excellent judgment skills and team working abilities
Very strong verbal/written communication skills & excellent attention to detail
Flexibility in work schedule as needs arise
Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Preferred Skills
Experience with using containers (Docker, Kubernetes) to manage production environments
Tuning and optimization of database management systems
Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and guidelines
