Universal Health Services COOK- Part Time in ATLANTA, Georgia

Responsibilities

The overall functions of this position are to prepare and serve regular and special diets to patients and employees. Understand and effectively deliver on all recipes and food service concepts as directed.

Qualifications

Education:

Minimum: High School Diploma or GED (preferred), or equivalent combination education and experience

Experience:

3-5 Year’s experience working as a cook.

License/Certification:

Food handler permit preferred

Skills:

Must be familiar with inventorying, cooking by recipes, quantity cooking and following written procedures. Food handling and sanitation.

Physical Requirements:

Stands and walks most of the day. Handles and manipulates equipment. Stoops and reaches for equipment. Lifts and carries food and kitchen equipment (up to 50 lbs.). Tastes and smells food to determine quality.

Other:

Performs others duties as may be assigned by Director of Dietary/ Nutrition Services.
