The Role: Individual Contributor External Facing Role
Role and Responsibilities:
Perform daily monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the FACETS and Windows server environments.
Assist in configuring and customizing FACETS to meet client requirements.
Follow change management processes and be able to independently apply monthly security and application patches during defined maintenance windows (typically 1AM – 5AM US Eastern Time).
Collaborate with internal teams to build, test and deploy new features and updates.
Provide technical support and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
Monitor system performance and generate detailed reports for stakeholders.
Participate in monthly after hours on-call rotation, proactively responding to alerts and resolving potential incidents in the EyeMed IT environment (or following escalation procedures if unresolvable / additional resources required).
Assist with user training and documentation on FACETS functionality.
Stay updated on the latest FACETS / Windows Server features and best practices.
Required Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Understands functionality and can independently perform installations / basic troubleshooting of all EyeMed purchased TriZetto products: FACETS Interactive, FACETS Application (Batch and FXI), Web Service Library, NetworX, Workflow, Target Environment Tool, Test Data Generator, Config Migration Tool, and Facets Enrollment Toolkit.
Has solid foundation in Windows server administration and support, including modern Windows versions (i.e. Windows 2022) and familiar with Active Directory, DNS, server hardware (on-prem and VM), user/group management, services, backups, and remote server administration on VMware hosts.
Able to research solutions in vendor documentation or web sites, follow vendor instructions provided by tier 3 personnel, and be able to coordinate activities between vendors (for example: TriZetto and DXC).
Can follow EyeMed process documentation and make appropriate modifications for the target environment (DEV, UAT, PROD, etc.)
Basic understanding of healthcare operations and claims processing.
Familiarity with software development lifecycles.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a desire for continuous improvement, proactively identifying potential problems and making recommendations to prevent incidents.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
High attention to detail with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $82K-$105K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
