Google Global Manufacturing Partner Manager in Atlanta, Georgia

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in sourcing and supply chain management, including agreement negotiation and supplier development.

  • Experience working with technical product development teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a technical or engineering field.

  • 12 years of experience in engineering, technical program management, or strategic sourcing.

  • Experience with compute, storage, networking, or data center infrastructure (including rack integration).

  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills to influence internally and externally.

As a Global Manufacturing Partner Manager, you will manage one of the larger contract manufacturing/supplier engagements and own all commercial aspects of the relationship. You will escalate and manage performance of the supplier including managing executive relationships and negotiations with the supplier. You will lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) sourcing space and manage key contract manufacturing/supplier engagements throughout the product development cycle.

In this role, you will develop the sourcing strategy supporting the compute and storage product roadmap. You will lead and add value to large cross-functional projects, as well as understand and resolve complex supply chain issues and risks. You will be a key part of an end-to-end technical supply chain team that drives continuous improvement and ensures operational excellence.

Additional information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000-$238,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Provide leadership as the supplier management in the product development of new infrastructure projects.

  • Partner with hardware and software engineers to develop supplier strategies aligned with Google product and technology roadmaps.

  • Define cost drivers, develop cost models and establish cost analysis.

  • Lead R equests For Proposal (RFP) , agreement negotiations, and the supplier selections process.

  • Manage supplier relationships and performance in alignment with technology, cost, quality, and delivery drivers.
