Job Title: Histologist Technologist IIJob Description
Seeking a skilled Histologist Technologist II to perform duties including the development of guidelines for surgical specimen analysis, instrument calibrations, and maintenance. The role involves maintaining inventory, resolving computer issues, handling complex specimens, developing billing systems, training new employees, and assuming administrative responsibilities as needed. The candidate will also engage in outpatient management, selected morgue duties, and ensure safety and cleanliness in the work environment.
Hard Skills
2 years experience in pathology lab
Certified as an HT/HTL (ASCP) or eligible to sit for the test
Soft Skills
Advanced skill and judgment handling problematic specimens
Ability to train and assist new employees
Administrative responsibility management
Problem-solving in technical and billing issues

This is a fully on-site position in Atlanta, Georgia.
Work Environment
Atlanta Location with multiple shifts available: Evening Shift (Monday - Friday 3:00PM - 11:00PM) and Night Shift (Sunday - Thursday 11:00PM - 7:00AM). Candidates should check for open positions and schedules due to frequent changes.
