TEKsystems Patient Support Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Description:

  • Efficiently manage scheduling for healthcare appointments, utilizing bilingual skills to communicate with patients in both English and Spanish.

  • Manage high call volumes of 75-100+ calls daily in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Prioritize and triage incoming calls efficiently, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal wait times for patients.

  • Coordinate and confirm appointments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to scheduling protocols.

  • Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, facilitating effective communication and resolving scheduling conflicts.

  • Maintain organized records of appointments and patient information in electronic scheduling systems.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.

  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize scheduling efficiency and patient satisfaction.

  • Stay updated on healthcare regulations and policies to ensure compliance in scheduling practices.

Requirements:

  • Call center experience (3+ months of experience) to service patients via phone.

  • Need to have attention to detail, typing skills, analytical decision making, ability to use dual monitors & ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously (they are in 3 systems at once and using other resources at once).

Additional Details:

  • There is the option to work remotely is available after a year (contract duration included) based on performance and reliability.

  • Potential for pay increase upon perm in this department depending upon performance during the contract duration.

  • There are also merit increases available long-term.
