Position Summary
Arrange placement/rotations and clerkship schedules (i.e., orientation, night call, etc) for students in ambulatory, inpatient, emergency room, and/or sub-specialty settings.
Manage all strategic and operational goals
Develop and implement detailed process and system designs for all UGME functions within the department
Serve as the primary contact for students with issues, problems, and concerns.
Perform basic budgetary functions, including completing budget change forms, completing/tracking various expense requests forms, and monitoring the status of the budget; maintains records and files of budget expenditure information, supplies, student data, office activities, and employee leave and time data.
Leads and manages the process for the procuring and updating affiliation agreements and letters of agreement for clerkship clinical sites.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or health-care related discipline
Experience:
Education:
- Master’s degree or Graduate degree preferred.
Experience:
Strong leadership skills for team and relationship building skills.
Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with personnel at all levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Time management and organizational skills
Experience in budget management.
Ability to maintain accurate, timely records and generate reports.
Knowledge of medical and adult education
Ability to engage in both short-term and long-term planning.

Oversee student experience at internal and external sites to assure adherence to protocols and standards
Ensure available housing is secured for student rotations, and ability to resolve issues related to housing if necessary.
Plan and execute community events related to building partnerships.
