Our teams include Information Technology, Legal, Information Security & Governance, Marketing, Operations, Finance & Accounting, People, and our Executive Office.The role : Project Manager, Accounting & FinanceSlalom's Accounting & Finance team is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead traditional waterfall projects and process improvement initiatives.The ideal candidate is willing and excited to delve into ambiguity, define requirements, and drive a project from initiation to completion. This person will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams as well as educating staff in operational roles on project management methodology.What you will do: * Lead the full life cycle of projects from requirements gathering to project close * Ensure projects have ongoing support and are aligned to priorities * Assess and mitigate risks while working in a fast-paced environment * Create long and short-term project plans that articulate project milestones * Create process documentation/updates * Evaluate and recommend solutions based on analysis and research * Track and measure project metrics and ensure necessary insights are collected, reported, and executed. * Facilitate timely communication amongst key collaborators, stakeholders, and leadership * Work collaboratively and be comfortable with minimal formal structure and competing prioritiesWho You AreRequired skills and experience * You have experience leading and executing cross-functional projects * You have experience leading infrastructure projects specifically * Experience coordinating with technical and business partner teams * Past success in a fast-paced, continually evolving environment using proven time management skills, prioritization skills, and working with a strong sense of urgency * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to network with individuals at all levels and develop close partnerships * Proven ability to create and deliver effective communication plans at all levels * Highly organized with an attention to detail * Demonstrates a strong work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability * Familiarity with MS Project Essential Qualities * Solution-oriented with the ability to deliver results. * Comfortable leveraging technology to manage workflow and projects * Ability to work comfortably with ambiguityPreferred Skills * PMP certified * Experience supporting projects in Accounting or Finance * Experience working in a matrix environment * Experience with process mapping tools such as Visio or Lucid ChartWe're focused on: * Inclusion as a top priority.
