Overview
Senior Team Leaders on the Restaurant Financial Data & Systems team are responsible for recommending strategic direction and implementing change with Restaurant Operators, cross-functional staff teams and external vendors. They represent systems and data with significant scope and complexity based on the number of users, size of budget or complexity of connected processes. They may also select, lead, and negotiate with outside partners. They usually manage more than one complex or significant project and/or system at a time, from development of business case to execution and monitoring post-rollout. They may also recommend and implement strategic business changes to system strategy (build/buy, multi-vendor portfolio, addressing vendor issues) and/or data infrastructure strategy. Planning and project management across cross-functional teams are key. This role involves a combination of people leadership, cross-functional influence, strategic planning and project leadership, and a commitment to know and improve the data and systems that the team works with.
The individual in this role will have responsibility for Product Management as a practice within the RFD&S team and several key Restaurant systems for US Restaurants, including scheduling, timekeeping, payroll and HR systems. With the team they lead, this individual will make strategic decisions about the strategy and roadmap for these systems and lead teams and vendors through phases of the system lifecycle. This individual will also maintain key partnership connections with critical cross-functional teams across the business as part of established Product Management practices.
