Job Description
Serving Auburn University Athletics, the Events Operations Manager is responsible for supervision and support in planning/executing concessions sporting events. Ensures that all event day stands, food items and equipment are ready to serve customers in such a way consistent with Aramark standards.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee and assist in setting up and breaking down of concessions stand as well as resetting stand for future sporting events
Oversees the sanitation of stands and the disposal of all trash and unused products
Oversee and assist nonprofit groups retrieve additional product for stands, ensure these groups complete event day tasks such as beginning and ending inventory, restocking food items etc.
Delegates tasks to employees as necessary to ensure all task are complete and successful
Informs Concessions Food Service Manager/Director of escalating employee conduct issues and or complaints
Responsible for making sure the staff is keeping items stocked and clean during events
Ensures each station has the equipment and supplies needed to serve the customers
Maintains a professional appearance
Ensures uniform compliance
Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing all safety standards
Ensure that all product to include alcohol, food and equipment, is properly stored and secure when not in use
Assist in event day duties when applicable ? to include cook, catering, staff check-in etc.
All other duties as assigned

Ability to work successfully in a team environment
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Desired Qualifications:
1-2 years of supervisory experience in event management or food service
Ability to manage people and have accountability for company assets
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively use problem solving and decision making skills
