In this role you will be performing various engineering duties requiring the exercise of judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices. This is a REMOTE position targeting west regions (Mountain and Pacific) of US.  Also, pursue initiatives to improve effectiveness of the group and increase customer satisfaction in Robotics and Discrete Automation in Auburn Hills, Michigan.This is a position with global grade 14This position reports to Engineering Manager IYour responsibilities

Perform various engineering tasks involving such functions as analysis, development, test, installation, and service, while working from instructions, specifications, and other pertinent information Prepare specifications and related documents in accordance with requirements, established formats and general instructions. Review and analyze a variety of engineering data, documents, and reports Work with other engineering groups to ensure that specified engineering criteria are suitable for the proposed application, and recommend revisions, as appropriate Plan, conduct or coordinate relatively straight forward engineering analyses and tests, and prepare related reports and summaries, for review Work with sales and customers to determine process feasibility of applications our customers Create offline simulations to determine if a solution has the proper robot reach and cycle time needed; develop Robotic demos for trade shows and support the trade shows with technical expertise to our customers Provide Robot training and workshops for customers and internal engineering team members Become a subject matter expert in new robotic applications or products to provide credible solutions to our customersYour background
