KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification is a plus. Proven experience (10 years) in business strategy, value creation, financial analysis, or project management, preferably in a corporate environment. Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyze complex data, draw meaningful insights, and make data-driven decisions. Solid understanding of business operations, financial management, and value drivers across various functions. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to completion. Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance considerations. Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Principle Duties & Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans aligned with project goals and objectives. Lead a team of purchasing professionals and provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback. Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements, specifications, and timelines to proactively plan procurement activities. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors based on their capabilities, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and quality of goods and services. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaborative partnerships. Continuously monitor market trends, industry developments, and technological advancements to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings. Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulations. Analyze data and generate reports on purchasing activities, performance, and cost savings for senior management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and legal, to ensure seamless integration and coordination of purchasing activities. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to procurement and supply chain management. Conduct comprehensive analysis of our business processes, operations, and financial data to identify areas of potential value creation and improvement. Analyze customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and revenue streams. PHYSICAL EFFORT Sight: must be able to regularly read computer screen, reports, and various documents with detail and clarity so as to accomplish work tasks in a safe and efficient manner. This includes regular use of adequate close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Hearing: must be able to regularly hear well enough to communicate.
