In this role, you will plan, direct and monitor all activities in the warehouse. In this role, you will be developing and managing the warehouse operations to effectively control the receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of products, systems and services to customers. Managing or coordinating all operating expenses, such as repair and maintenance, cleaning services, security services, utilities and energy, and common areas of the Auburn Hills Robotics facility. Supports the choice of the Facility Management model to implement the best practice coming from the market.This position reports to Quality Continuous Improvement FacilitieYour responsibilities

Warehouse and Facility budget: Propose and manage the annual warehouse budget. Operate within approved budget. Manage the warehouse staff and facility management activities to optimize resources and determines actions to cost issues as necessary Warehouse improvement: Continuously improve warehouse operations through the use of lean practices, including automation and process improvement. Plan and optimize warehouse utilization and inventory Warehouse operations: Plan and monitor the storage, delivery and dispatch of orders and keeps stock control systems up to date. Oversees stock control and processes orders Health, safety and environment (HSE): Ensure that Group and local health, safety and environmental guidelines and directives are implemented and understood to ensure safety of people and resources People leadership and development: Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies Facility Repair and maintenance: Plan and implement maintenance, testing and inspection schedules to ensure the facility is operating safely and efficiently, maximize the life of equipment, reduce risk of failure, and meet statutory obligations Facility Cleaning: Manage building related cleaning activities in line with ABB cleaning standard (INSTA model) Facility security: Ensure security solutions and services follow ABB security standards. Ensure appropriate maintenance, inspection and testing activities are carried out and records kept for all fire safety equipment and systems. Keep certificates of compliance Facility Energy efficiency: In conjunction with the Sustainability Officer and Head of Green CREM, ensure all real estate facilities and services are managed and monitored to maximize energy efficiency of buildings and sites, makes assessments, and recommends energy saving solutions Net Zero Carbon Initiative: Assess buildings and recommends actions for improvement in line with ABB's Net Zero Carbon initiative Common areas: Manage and monitor common areas including parking, green area and  landscaping and snow removal Safety: Zero harm - (in conjunction with the Health and Safety Manager) ensure that all activities led by Real Estate/3rd party facility management company are undertaken with all necessary safety control measures to mitigate and eliminate hazards/risksYour background

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 08 years of experience in Warehouse, material planning, Logistics, Shipping & Receiving, Operations, Facility maintenance, OR High School diploma, or GED, and 10 years of experience in Warehouse, material planning, Logistics, Shipping & Receiving, Operations, Faci
