JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Trainer is responsible for onboarding and developing employees through comprehensive training programs across all shifts and temperature zones. This role ensures that new hires, transfers, and colleagues requiring additional support receive the instruction needed to perform safely, efficiently, and effectively. Training is delivered through a combination of classroom sessions and hands-on learning experiences.
RESPONSABILITIES
Conduct training sessions for new hires and transfers, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills for their roles.
Provide targeted retraining for colleagues who need additional support to meet performance expectations.
Develop and implement instructional strategies that enhance learning and operational efficiency.
Assess trainees’ progress, deliver constructive feedback, and adjust training methods as needed.
Maintain accurate records of training activities and colleague development.
Collaborate with leadership to refine and improve training programs based on operational needs.
Assist in key projects by providing technical guidance, personnel support, and customer relations expertise.
Analyze training challenges and design effective solutions to optimize learning outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
Previous experience in training, coaching, or mentoring roles preferred.
Experience in an operational environment (such as food production or distribution) is a plus but not required.
Skills
Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and skill levels.
Skill in motivating and engaging learners while solving problems creatively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
