Humana User Acceptance Testing Senior Professional in Augusta, Maine

The User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Senior Professional carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet department standards and end-user requirements. The UAT Senior Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Senior Professional collaborates across business and IT to understand requirements, develop details UAT test plans, including objectives, scope, resources, schedule, etc. Creates details test cases for UAT to cover all possible scenarios, and review test cases with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business requirements. Perform UAT test cases to validate the system from an end-user perspective. Document and report test results, including defects and issues found during testing. Ensure the test environment data aligns with scenarios based UAT plans through coordination with IT teams. Identify and create necessary test data sets for UAT. Prepare regular status reports on testing progress, including test execution metrics, defect status, and any risks or issues. Facilitate meetings and discussions to clarify requirements, resolve issue, and provide updates on test activities. Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to software testing and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the testing lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of experience with end-user test plan development and execution

  • Process mapping (End to end processes, identifying gaps, creating/modifying flowcharts/maps) experience

  • Ability to perform complex workflow analysis and recommend quality improvements

  • Root cause analysis experience

  • Ability to work in tight timelines and to prioritize task/assignments

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel and/or PowerPoint

  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior leadership

  • Proven experience with consulting with and building relationships with business partners

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to non-technical professionals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with test management tools such as ADO (Azure DevOps) to manage test plan.

  • Knowledge of Agile Software Development; Software Development Life Cycle

  • Experience performing end-user testing for a Call Center/Contact Center organization with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools

  • Prior working experience with TRICARE and/or Military/Government data

  • Data analytics knowledge

Work at Home/Remote Requirements

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$86,600 - $119,200 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
