Job Overview
The Clinical Dietitian Professional is an experienced team member who provides
comprehensive, safe, and ethical medical nutrition therapy to patients,
families, and other clients in inpatient or outpatient settings.

clinicians dedicated to providing patient & family centered evidence-based
medical nutrition therapy. Our clinical RDs are highly integrated within the
multidisciplinary team on the inpatient units and outpatient clinics at
Children's Hospital Colorado. Come experience the culture of Clinical

Additional Information
Department Name: Clinical Nutrition Anschutz Medical Campus (on-site).
Coverage areas to include Lifestyle Medicine (weight management for children
and teens with severe obesity), and variable outpatient clinic support.
Job Status: Full-Time: 40 hours/week -- eligible for benefits
Shift: 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Qualifications
EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree*
EXPERIENCE - Three (3) years clinical nutrition. Pediatric experience
required.
LICENSURES -Registered Dietitians (RD) or Registered Dietitian
Nutritionists (RDN). CSP or CSOWM preferred.
*Master's Degree required as of 1/1/2024 for RD credential
Responsibilities
POPULATION SPECIFIC CARE
Neonate - 30 days to 1yr
Toddlers - >1yr to 3yrs
Pre-Schoolers - >3yrs to 5yrs
School age - >5yrs to 13yrs
Adolescent - >13yrs to 18yrs
Adult - >18yrs to 65yrs
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

established standards and evidence.

Actively contributes to rounds, care conferences, and care coordination.
Collaborates and promotes teamwork to achieve positive patient and client
outcomes across the organization and/or within the department.
Proactively connects withClinical Nutrition team members and other disciplines
in the organization to identify Clinical Nutrition-related issues, potential
solutions, and opportunities for quality and process improvement.
