Job Overview
Performs high quality pediatric diagnostic imaging procedures in multiple
modalities. Provides conscientious patient care while adhering to all quality
and safety standards. Performs administrative duties including but not
limited to scheduling appointments, patient instructions, and maintenance
of records. This position is responsible for communicating regularly with
patients, families, and all hospital and community caregivers while
following department expectations for interactions with patients and families.
Team members in this job must maintain competency and registry in two or more
Radiology disciplines and work 20% of scheduled shifts in their secondary
disciplines. Required to be on call depending on location.

Job Status: Full-Time; 36 hours/week -- eligible for benefits
Shift: 3x12 hour shifts; Thursday, Friday and Saturday 7am - 7:30pm
Qualifications
Education: Graduation from an accredited Radiography program
Experience: Three (3) years of imaging experience.
Equivalency: N/A
Certification(s):
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: Registered Radiologic
Technologist ARRT(R); and any one (1) of the following advanced modalities;
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: Registered Computed
Tomography Technologist ARRT(CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology
Certification Board: NMTCB (CT)
Registered Magnetic Resonance Technologist ARRT(MR)
Registered Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) or Cardiac
Interventional Radiography (CI)
Registered Bone Densitometry (BD)
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider
Responsibilities
POPULATION SPECIFIC CARE
Neonate- 30 days to 1 yr
Toddlers- > 1 yr to 3 yrs
Pre-schoolers- > 3 yrs to 5 yrs
School age-> 5yrs to 13 yrs
Adolescent- >13 yrs to 18 yrs
Adult- >18 yrs to 65 yrs
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the
following essential functions. These examp es do not include all of the
functions which the employee may be expected to perform.
Produces high quality imaging while accurately demonstrating anatomy and
pathology utilizing proper diagnostic imaging protocols.
Facilitates patient flow daily; to include management of STAT/urgent and
high priority patients.
Provides age-appropriate care and appropriately prepares patients for
procedures.
