Job Summary:

Learning Management System (LMS) & Web Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide superior customer service to internal and external partners.

  • Conduct administrative and instructional design-related tasks in D2L Brightspace (e.g. create course templates and offerings, enroll and update users, access data and create data analytics reports).

  • Conduct administrative tasks in Course Merchant (e.g. create products, fulfill and monitor registration requests, monitor payments).

  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of current technology as it applies to LMS software and systems.

  • Administer and maintain RMPHTC.org websites using WordPress and Elementor.

  • Learn new technologies and methods using resources available to the RM-PHTC, including LinkedIn Learning and the Brightspace Community.

  • Participate in team meetings and actively engage in RM-PHTC diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.

  • This is a full-time position and reports to the Instructional Design Manager.

Minimum Requirements

Intermediate Professional:

  • A bachelor's degree in instructional design, instructional technology, computer science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.

  • One (1) year of professional level experience in LMS management, instructional technology, web development, and/or systems management.

  • Substitution : A combination of relevant education in instructional design, instructional technology, computer science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution, and related professional level experience in LMS management, instructional technology, web development, and/or systems management may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

Senior Professional:

  • A bachelor's degree in instructional design, instructional technology, computer science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.

  • Two (2) years of professional level experience in LMS management, instructional technology, web development, and/or systems management.

  • Substitution : A combination of relevant education in instructional design, instructional technology, computer science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution, and related professional level experience in LMS management, instructional technology, web development, and/or systems management may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the D2L Brightspace learning management system.

  • Experience with user registration management and CRM software, Course Merchant preferred.

  • Experience with HTML and CSS or other programming experience.

  • Experience with WordPress development; Elementor plugin experience highly desired.

  • Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro).

  • Experience with SCORM and content authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Joubel H5P, Genially).

  • Experience managing, building and/or updating web sites.

  • Experience providing customer service and meeting requests of internal and external partners.

  • Experience following, improving and implementing processes related to registration and LMS user management.

  • Experience managing data sets, Microsoft Power BI experience highly desired.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.

Join the Colorado School of Public Health as the . This position is a key member of the school's Rocky Mountain Public Health Training Center (RM-PHTC) and will be responsible for LMS and registration coordination, as well as web development duties. This position will be part of a diverse multidisciplinary team, requiring effective organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate takes personal initiative to be highly organized and adept at implementing and following processes, adapting as project priorities shift. The LMS & Web Coordinator will create learning event registrations in Course Merchant, update and maintain the RM-PHTC's websites, manage users in the LMS, and provide data collection and dissemination for learning events provided by the center. Functions include creating course templates and offerings for use by the Instructional Design team, creating and enrolling users, monitoring registrations and waitlists, coordinating pending payments with financial staff, and creating reports from system data.

Hybrid – This position is located on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO and is eligible to work a hybrid schedule with at least two days of the week that can be worked from home. The starting target salary for this position has been established as: $57,000 - $60,000 $60,000 - $65,000 The above salary represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
