Insight Global Quality Inspector in Aurora, Colorado

Job Description

An Industrial Engineering company specializing in custom industrial mechanical systems is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their first shift (6:00am - 2:30pm) team in Aurora, CO. The company is making a big push to build its quality division and will be looking for either an Entry or mid-level inspector with the goal of improving their professional skillsets in Quality Inspection, including hands on and administrative procedures. You will be given the opportunity to learn and advance at the pace you set for yourself. You will work with a Quality Engineer, Manufacturing teams, and Management to ensure quality of custom built electromechanical mechanical systems. Responsibilities include 75% quality measurement procedures/measurements, reading and interpreting blueprints/ weld symbols, and implementing corrective actions. Other 25% responsibilities include documenting work /following inspection plans/quality reports, and other administrative actions.

The Company is well established in its industry and offers room for advancement, and you will be coming into a growing division. This is a 6 month contract to hire position, and will turn into a permanent position in the next 6 months. Candidates must pass a drug test.

Skills and Requirements

1+ year of Quality Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience reading blueprints or part diagrams

Experience utilizing a tape measure and other quality measurement tools

Strong communication and ability to work with cross functional teams

Comfortable taking a background check and drug test null
