Children's Colorado! Here, we welcome qualified clinical team members
with or without pediatric experience. Our Transition to Practice Programs for
Adult to Pediatric Nursing offers specialized training and education to
support you in transitioning from adult to pediatric nursing. To learn more

Hourly Range: $36.43 to $48.70 per hour
Eligible Incentives:
Up to $4,400 in relocation benefits (100 mi. or greater) for
qualifying positions
Hours per week: Multiple FTE's available. Must work 20 hours/week to
be eligible for benefits

Qualifications:
EDUCATION - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
EXPERIENCE -One year nursing experience.
EQUIVALENCY - Applicants with an Associate's Degree in Nursing who agree to
obtain a Bachelor of Science (BSN) within 3 years from their start date
may be considered.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S) - Registered Nurse (RN) license;
BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least 6 months left
before expiration is required upon hire.
Acute Care Units:
Surgical Unit: This 72-bed unit encompasses three service lines
(Neurology, Orthopedics and Rehabilitation) and 14 sub-specialties.
Patients are treated for trauma, solid-organ transplant, burns, general
surgery, plastics, urology, colorectal, bariatrics, neurology,
neurosurgery, epilepsy monitoring, orthopedics and rehabilitation and
receive state-of-the-art interventions and treatments, as well as
specialized n
Hematology/Oncology Unit: With 48 inpatient beds and 16 infusion rooms,
this unit can service over 1,000 bone marrow transplants. Patients include
infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with cancer, blood
disorders, cellular therapy primarily for cancer not responsive to
conventional therapies, as well as immunodeficiency or selected genetic
disorders. It also services medical and surgical overflow. We care for
patients with a non-malignant diagnosis, experimental therapeutics and those
requiring hospitalization for radioactive treatments.
Medical Unit: This unit has 48 beds and serves children with a variety of
medical conditions specializing in digestive health, renal impairment,
infectious diseases, behavioral health, endocrine and metabolic disorders
and immune deficiencies. The unit also cares for patients with an acute
medical need with a behavioral health concern (e.g., eating disorder,
suicide attempt/ideation, conversion disorder).
Pulomonary Unit: This unit has 48 beds and is associated with . This unit
cares for pediatric patients with a variety of conditions such as pulmonary
(asthma, bronchiolitis, croup, pneumonia, pertussis, cystic
fibrosis, bronchomalacia, chronic ventilation status) and airway
conditions (tracheostomy status, airway anomalies, tracheal malacia and
atresia, airway reconstruction, and tonsil/adenoidectomy).
The Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) provides care for children with
congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension and acquired heart
disease, serving patients from neonate through adulthood (for adults with
congenital heart disease). Conditions include heart transplants,
cardiology (medical and surgical) including congenital and acquired heart
disease, pre- and post-heart transplant for vasoactive and anti-rejection
therapies, pulmonary hypertension, cardiac catheterization recovery and
adult congenital heart patients. Patients in the CPCU are cared for by a
multidisciplinary team including dedicated cardiac medical providers, RNs
and dedicated pharmacists, nutritionists, social workers and child life
specialists. We individualize care to meet the unique needs of each patient
and family. The CPCU specializes in managing patients on the continuum between
critical care and ready to discharge, with a wide range of patient acuity.
