Position Overview

Position Purpose: At Children's Colorado, nursing jobs are critical to
our mission. Our nurses work on the front lines to provide skilled and

grow a meaningful career. The purpose of the Clinical Resource Team (Float
Team) is to allocate centralized staffing resources across the
organization, address staffing variances, and provide clinical expertise
to safeguard quality patient care. Nursing Cohorts include Acute Care,
Emergency Department, Med/Psych and Critical Care.
Hourly Range: 36.43 to 48.70 per hour
Eligible Incentives:
Up to $4,400 in relocation benefits (100 mi. or greater) for
qualifying positions
Hours per week: Multiple FTE's available. Must work 20 hours/week to
be eligible for benefits
Shift: Rotating and straight nights available

Qualifications:
EDUCATION - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
EXPERIENCE -Two years of pediatric nursing experience aligned to cohort.
Certification(s): BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at
least 6 months left before expiration is required upon hire; ACLS and PALS
required within six months of hire. Certification in area of expertise within
first year of hire.
Licensure: Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license.
As part of the Clinical Resource (CR) Team, the Clinical Nurse serves as
a system-wide resource, providing patient care within defined cohort
areas: Acute Care, Critical Care, Emergency/Network of Care,
Med/Psych and/or Ambulatory clinical areas. The Clinical Nurse has the
clinical knowledge, skills, and competencies to provide nursing care
commensurate with the unit, department, and division expectation.
The Clinical Nurse may begin their shift in one unit and based on a change in
census and acuity be reallocated to a different unit to meet operational
needs. However, it is also possible for the Clinical Nurse to experience
extended periods of time in one department to offset long-term absences
through the Months Program.
