The Trailer Sales rep is responsible for trailer sales in selected market
areas in a manner that reflects the companys vision of working as One
Professional Team. Wagner is the sales and service dealer for Load King, XL
Specialized, Smithco, Trail King, Clement Industries and Towmaster
construction and transportation trailers.
Pay Rate:Base Salary + Commission
Pay rate is dependent on education and experience.
Essential Functions:

Utilizes Sales Link to track customer contact and activities.
Develops relationships with customers in territory to promote trailer sales.
Executes rental, lease, and sales contracts working with finance group.
Develops specific trailer specs to meet individual customer needs.
Cooperates with service departments in preparation of new equipment for
delivery.
Works with Marketing to promote trailer sales.
Proactively seeks out potential trailer customers.
Participates in local associations related to the trailer business.
Develops and maintains good working relationships with service department
personnel.
Develops sales presentations for customers and associations.
Responds to inquiries by customers for information in a timely manner.
Class A CDL is preferred.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years direct sales experience, preferably in the heavy equipment or
truck industry
1-3 years administrative/clerical experience
1-3 years customer service experience
1-3 years technical or mechanical experience
Physical Demands & Competencies:
Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
Squatting/Kneeling.
Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, etc.
Medium work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 32 pounds or
more.
Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational,
communication & math skills
Safety & Product Knowledge
Experience with trailer industry and DOT requirements.
Finance Knowledge.
Knowledge of local industries and their operation, such as aggregate
hauling, concrete, paving, and refuse is beneficial.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Basic knowledge of DBS/AS400.
Basic knowledge of CRM/Sales Link and ET/SIS/SIS Web/STW.
Travel Requirements:
25- 50%
