JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Senior Financial Analyst in the Foodservice Finance team, you will act as a business partner for a portfolio of Foodservice products in a critical role ensuring the financial integrity and profitability of the business through sound fundamentals in financial forecasting, planning, and reporting. The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting strategic business initiatives as well as developing financial forecasts, variance reports and driver analysis to support their portfolio. This role provides an opportunity to serve as a strategic business partner for cross-functional partners and support key initiatives with high executive visibility.

This position reports to the Senior Finance Manager for Foodservice.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for period financial modeling, planning & reporting for Foodservice net sales inclusive of the Bacon, Planters and breakfast meats.

  • Acts as primary financial business partner for the assigned Foodservice portfolio of products. This includes providing monthly/quarterly/annual business analysis that identify variances against AOP and forecast as well as quarterly written report to support the Foodservice Board of Directors report.

  • Identifies need for analysis and proactively uses internal and external data to uncover insights, leverage analytics, and unlock growth and cost savings opportunities for the organization.

  • Maintains the financial models and inputs for their respective business

  • Responsible for modeling and forecasting commodity cost impact on profitability. Supports customer contract and pricing updates.

  • Builds strong relationships manages timelines, coordinates and collaborates with cross functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, and other cross functional partners.

  • Able to leverage pricing strategies, advise on target margins and formula-based pricing models to drive strategic growth initiatives.

  • Financial owner for assigned portfolio, supporting the Demand Creation Review (DCR) and Integrated Reconciliation (IR) phases of the Integrated Business Process (IBP). Identifies and communicates risks and opportunities for their business.

  • Supports investment in business growth through Capex or Innovation by providing needed inputs and risk analysis for assigned portfolio.

  • Identifies opportunities and drives change in support of continuous improvement.

  • Performs ad-hoc financial analysis and provides insights for management as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

  • 2+ years in Finance or related FP&A experience

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail

  • Analytical and decision-making skills, including the ability to search and work-cross functionally to form recommendations

  • Advanced Excel and modeling skills

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated pattern of initiative and accountability

  • Intellectual curiosity and resourcefulness

  • Ability to work in a team environment on a variety of complex projects

  • Ability to work across all levels of the organization

  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred

  • Advanced professional certification in analytics or finance.

  • 4+ years finance or related FP&A experience.

  • Familiarity with Tableau, QAD, Oracle cloud/SmartView.

  • Experience in Brand Finance, Finance, Marketing or Revenue Growth Management within Foodservice and/or CPG industry
