The CSCP Organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), decommissioning and disposition of Data center assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Our infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 200 datacenters supporting services for more than 1 billion customers in over 90 countries worldwide.

The Cloud Supply Chain team delivers predictable, flexible supply chain to manage scale at the lowest cost by driving efficiency through automation, long term sourcing and supply strategies. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Business Administrator to support two General Managers and our Sourcing, Spares, Security and Sustainability team (CS4). Responsibilities

  • Management of two General Managers calendars with attention to accuracy, timeliness, conflict resolution and alignment to the leader’s priorities and commitments

  • Planning and coordination of domestic and international travel itineraries

  • Timely and accurate reconciliation of expenses

  • Coordination and logistical support for onsite and offsite meetings/events including our employee company meetings, morale events, team training and leadership offsites

  • Management over team headcount process, discretionary budget tracking, organization employee data maintenance and distribution and security group ownership

  • Team support including space management, office moves, new hire set up and onboarding and procurement of equipment and supplies

  • Experience working with a global team and cultural awareness

  • Proven professional approach to dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information

  • Ensure compliance with administrative operations policies and procedures

  • Other administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ work experience as an administrative assistant

  • Previous work experience within the Tech industry

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft productivity software including, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel, as well as knowledge in internal applications including, Employee Central, HR Catalog, DaVinci, MSExpense2, MyOrder, Cytric Travel, and ICIMS

Business Support ATR-C - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $23.56 - $41.68 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $34.71 - $48.22 per hour.
