Job/Position DescriptionData Analyst IIThis position is grant funded for a period not expected to exceed approximately 18 months; and is responsible for assist in the management of program data for the Disaster Case Management Program. This position will coordinate with The Compliance Analyst monitor compliance with state and federal rules related to the management of federal grants. Essential Job Functions-Monitor contract requirements, rules and directives which may impact processes within disaster case management program.-Assume interim administration responsibilities as necessary.-Travel/driving extensively within the state of Texas required.-Review consortium data for missing or incomplete items/documents, alert appropriate staff, and monitor for completion and filing.-Ensure required items/documents are accurately completed, signed, and dated.-Follow up with consortium members regarding paperwork and case files.-Ensure timeframes are met on all required items/documents.-Work with staff to maintain tickler system to ensure compliance with contract requirements, COA standards, DCM best practices, DCM policies and procedures, and/or any other requirements. -File documentation promptly upon receipt.-Organize and facilitate monitoring and evaluation of consortium members-Coordinate monitoring activities with the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation.Registrations, Licensure Requirements or CertificationsKnowledge Skills AbilitiesExperience with CRF 2, Part 200 is strongly preferred.Understanding of processes and procedures related to program auditing.Management of large volumes of data.Ability to interact with various levels of management.Ability to document findings and create reports for management.Monitoring contract requirements and deliverablesInitial Screening Criteria-College degree preferred.-Experience in program monitoring and evaluation.-Experience working in a position that requires great attention to detail.-Demonstrate interpersonal skills such as problem solving and teamwork.-Computer literacy.-Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.-Possess sensitivity to the service populationand#146;s cultural and socio-economic characteristics.-Ability to handle all information with utmost confidentiality.-Have a commitment to the purpose, objectives and goals of the disaster case management consortium.-Possess a valid driverand#146;s license and have an excellent driving record.Additional Information https://jobshrportal.hhsc.state.tx.us/ENG/CareerPortal/job_profile.cfm?szOrderID=609303 Copy the URL in the preceding sentence to an Internet Explorer browser to apply to the job directly through the Texas Health and Human Services Career Portal.
