Function 1: HR Transactions and Unit SupportServe as HR Executive and final reviewer for HR business processes for various units in the EVPP portfolio ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and university laws and policies. Assess employee life-cycle events such as reclassifications, new position requests, compensation changes, and more. Act as the subject matter expert and provide training and guidance to relevant stakeholders on these HR matters. As assigned, address employee relations matters including counseling supervisors on employee issues and collaborating with central offices.Function 2: Manage HR TeamHire, train, develop, and supervise a team of HR support staff, encouraging continuous professional growth through ongoing training and skill development opportunities. Establish clear performance metrics to ensure service and quality level expectations are met. Providing regular feedback for improvement. Foster collaboration and ensure consistency across all constituents.Function 3: HR Operations and Improvement CoordinationActively contribute to driving innovation and continuous improvement within HR processes. Proactively gather feedback from key stakeholders to identify areas for enhancing the HR function. Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams to ensure the seamless and timely delivery of services to stakeholders. Assist with special projects and participate in working groups as assigned. Serve as backup for unit-level HR contacts and team ensuring timely processing of HR actions.Function 4:Other duties as assigned
