Join Our Team as a HVAC Technician!

Location: Austin, TX

Starting Pay: $29/hr, paid bi-weekly

Shift: Overnight position

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure 100% critical systems uptime

• Become a First Responder to critical infrastructure alarms

• Complete work orders with precision and timeliness

• Master the use of tools and equipment

• Adhere to Switch Safety Policies and Procedures

• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to uphold Switch standards

• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for safety and functionality

• Perform collateral duties and tasks assigned by management

• Attend meetings and training sessions while maintaining a professional appearance

  Qualifications:

• Completion of HVAC schooling (1 year preferred) or equivalent field/military experience

• Expertise in HVAC and electrical systems (90% HVAC, 10% electrical)

• Customer service mindset; outgoing, personable, and curious

• Nice-to-have skills: low voltage, cable, maintenance repair, infrastructure

• Flexibility to work any shift, including weekends and holidays

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Basic typing, email, and computer skills

  Physical Demands:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, use hands, operate a computer

• Specific vision abilities including close and distance vision, and ability to adjust focus

• Frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds

• Approved Personal Protective Equipment required for field/warehouse work

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $59000.00 - $59000.00/yr.
