CVS Health Member Engagement Special Project Manager in Austin, Texas

How will this role have an impact?

This role will report to our Senior Manager, Member Engagement. The Special Projects Manager-Member Engagement is responsible for developing, organizing, and monitoring all activities related to assigned projects. Acts as the key day-to-day supervisor to drive projects to completion. Interacts with all levels of staff and management. In collaboration with executive management, oversees all projects to ensure they are completed within budget, by project deadlines, and meets or exceeds expectations. Serves as a liaison with all internal and external project resources. In collaboration with other departments, develops financial analyses, documentation, processes, reports, project plans, budgets, etc. associated with projects. Provides comprehensive updates and status reports to management and other stakeholders. Manages member call activities in conjunction with assigned activities.

What will you do?

  • Serves as the day-to-day supervisor for the Special Projects Team, ensuring projects are completed on-time and meets or exceeds expectations.

  • Ensures team workload is balanced and assigned tasks are completed.

  • Acts as liaison between internal and external departments.

  • Operationalize approved project strategy, identifies best methods, processes, and develops project feedback sessions.

  • Coach coordinators on effective practices, procedures, and phonetic skills.

  • Assists in defining project goals and deliverables to support business needs in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

  • Continually manages project expectations, deliverables, and team performance.

  • Assists with internal/external communication and represents the project to both groups.

  • Under the direction of the department management, develops full-scale project outcomes and associated communications documents.

  • Effectively communicates project outcomes to internal and external resources in a timely and clear fashion.

  • When required, negotiate with other department managers for resources and issue resolution consensus.

We are looking for someone with:

  • BA Degree preferred

  • PMP Certification a plus

  • 5+ years working history and prior team management experience highly preferred

  • Healthcare experience highly preferred

  • Call center experience highly preferred

  • Project management experience a plus

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $102,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
