Google Program Manager, Business Development, Google Cloud in Austin, Texas

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in program management, client services or management consulting.

  • Experience in leading projects and programs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or other Advanced degree in Business Strategy, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience in pipeline development, marketing campaign creation, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) utilization.

  • Understanding of Google Cloud or similar Cloud technologies and its applications in business.

  • Excellent resource management, data analysis, storytelling, and consulting skills.

As part of an innovative team in this rapidly growing business, you will help shape the future of businesses of all sizes and use technology to connect with customers, employees, and partners.

In this role, you will drive the implementation of Business Development Representative (BDR) programs into Google systems and workflows. You will collaborate with BDR program managers, internal partners, and vendor teams. You will develop training programs, create sales tools and resources, and co-develop joint sales solutions with vendors. You will be responsible for measuring program effectiveness and recommending improvements.

Additionally, you will oversee account demand generation through marketing campaigns and outbound prospecting, qualify prospects for Google Cloud products, and support sales managers in running a successful sales development team. You will ensure vendor representatives have the necessary knowledge to achieve quarterly goals. You will also collaborate with partners to understand their needs, develop go-to-market strategies, and drive sales. You will collaborate with marketing and sales teams to guarantee field acceptance of generated opportunities. You will act as the primary liaison between vendor sales development and Google's internal teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$234,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Be responsible for all operational functions to achieve cloud pipeline goals, including operating expenses (Opex) management, financial alignment, process optimization, workflow systems support, tool selection, data management, and go-to-market plan development.

  • Drive demand generation through optimized channel investments, campaign collaboration, and event execution to achieve Return on investment (ROI) and funnel efficiencies. Partner with the central sales organization on policies, programs, and workstreams to align goals and drive business.

  • Build key cross-functional partnerships to ensure scalable, repeatable, and efficient business processes that meet evolving needs, including BDR enablement through process and training.

  • Collaborate with executive cross-functional teams to lead annual business planning, headcount management, key organizational metrics, quota setting, ROI analysis, and executive reporting.
