Required Skills:
Senior Rendering Engineer - Sanzaru Responsibilities:
Communicate with artists directly to understand artistic direction and help enable technology to help meet vision.
Breaking down complex technical subjects to non-technical audiences or engineers outside of rendering.
Collaborate with Artists using Material Graphs to provide guidance, and develop technology solutions to achieve artistic direction.
Profiling GPU/CPU performance
Identifying performance constraints and collaborating with non-technical Cross Functional Partners to improve.
Close collaboration multidisciplinaryartist team to achieve AAA fidelity on VR platforms.
Develop Vulkan shaders in support of performant artistic targets in Unreal Engine
Working in and out of game project code to achieve sought rendering targets.
Minimum Qualifications:

At least 7 years of game industry experience
Demonstrated experience shipping a Console, PC or VR game
Experience developing with C++ and Vulkan
Demonstrated experience with game engine performance profiling
Proven experience in developing with Unreal Engine.
Demonstrated collaborative history with team members across multiple disciplines.
BS Computer Science or equivalent experience

Shipping at least one VR title with an emphasis on tackling rendering or performance challenges
Demonstrated experience working directly with individual artists to collaborate on achieving rendering goals.
Demonstrated Experience evaluating Unreal Material Graph for performance improvements or bug triage.
Demonstrated experience using renderdoc to assess performance or bugs.

$177,000/year to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
