Products:Our team, part of Storage Virtualization and Operating Systems organization, takes pride in developing industry-leading products and services that cater to the unique needs of our Oracle Cloud and Enterprise customers. We strive to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that enable our customers to stay ahead of the competition and achieve their business goals. This role impacts Oracle’s product offering (ZFSSA, ZS OCI, PCA & Rover) and collaborates closely with Oracle database and OCI teams.

Required Skills:1. Demonstrated proficiency in the software development lifecycle, ensuring a structured and efficient approach to building robust software.2. Strong knowledge of C, Python, and Javascript programming languages, enabling the creation of versatile and powerful solutions.3. Expertise in data structures and algorithms to design efficient and optimized systems.4. Proficiency in Unix-based operating systems, providing a solid foundation for cloud and enterprise environments.5. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a software developer, showcasing a strong track record of successful project deliveries.

Desirable Skills:1. Experience in Storage Systems design and implementation, demonstrating an understanding of complex system interactions.2. In-depth knowledge of storage concepts, including filesystems, block & object storage, is essential for success in this role.3. Proficiency with Cloud Native development technologies, including microservices and containers, showcasing a modern approach to application development with Agile and Sprint SDLC processes.4. Familiarity with Cloud Provisioning tools such as Ansible or Terraform for efficient resource management.5. Hands-on experience with Cloud Orchestration environments like Kubernetes, enabling the management of large-scale deployments.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

US: Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
