Role Description

As a Tech Ops - OSP Construction Program Manager, you’ll collaborate closely on cross-team initiatives, working to plan, execute, and deliver projects to local markets and surrounding communities. You’ll bring enthusiasm and curiosity as you deploy new and old strategies for ensuring projects run smoothly and finish on time. During your day-to-day, you will help ensure adherence to the engineering design plans, GFiber’s standards and proper budget and milestone tracking. sely on cross-team initiatives, working with a cross-functional team to plan, execute, and deliver projects, including deploying new strategies to local markets and surrounding communities. The Tech Ops - OSP Construction Program Manager oversees day-to-day operations, budget and milestone tracking, and project completion related to the construction of our OSP FTTH network. Responsibilities include pre-construction planning, construction execution/sequencing, and splicing/testing for project turnover and acceptance.

In this role, you'll:

  • Ensure adherence to engineering design plans, GFiber Standards & Spec, contract SOW’s, and municipal requirements, fostering transparent change management processes.

  • Manage project pipelines, budgets, scheduling, resource/activity planning, prioritization, vendor performance tracking, project dependency awareness, financial reporting, invoice approval, material management, and develop/maintain the Vendor construction schedule.

  • Clearly communicate expectations and project status to internal/external stakeholders, ensuring proper project scoping and seamless handoff for network acceptance.

  • Work autonomously, establishing new program geographical areas with limited onsite support, converting conceptual market deliverables into specific action steps, assigning roles & responsibilities, and troubleshooting creatively under pressure.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • 7 years of Program/Project Management experience in large scope, capital-intensive, technical scopes of work, including vendor and resource management.

  • Experience in scheduling projects, capital tracking, reporting project status, and influencing commercial terms with contractors and vendors.

  • Experience managing telco infrastructure, FTTx operations, or OSP projects with GIS systems, and FTTH records.

It's preferred if you have:

  • Experience in operational improvement, process/workflow development, and managing complex cross-functional projects.

  • Experience using written and verbal communication to resolve conflicts and drive deadlines.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple high-priority projects and deadlines.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $154,000- $169,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. Your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
