Job Description
The Assembly Technician 2 produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies. Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
The Test Technician is responsible for the leak checking and functional testing of custom electro-mechanical equipment. This is a 3rd shift opportunity, 10:30pm-6am M-F plus some Saturdays as needed.
Skills
Electronic testing and troubleshooting
Leak test with Helium
Final test and failure analysis
Understanding of blueprints and schematics
Assembling large, complex mechanical assemblies or subassemblies
Hand and power tools
Assembly instructions and blueprints
Semiconductor assembly experience

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Austin, Texas.
Work Environment
This position is available for various shifts including 1st shift (6am-2:30pm) and weekend nights (Thurs-Sun 4pm-2:30am, Sat-Tues 4pm-2:30am). The work environment is professional and team-oriented within a manufacturing setting. The role involves physical activities such as climbing, stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
