Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Specialist
VCA Northwest Hills Animal Hospital is friendly small animal practice located in beautiful Austin, Texas. Our hospital is dedicated to developing our team with training and mentorship and focusing on the employee experience. We value each team member and understand that our team is our biggest asset!
Why We Need You:
Our practice keeps growing and we need compassionate and caring team members who love helping pets and people. We pride ourselves on compassionate pet care, high quality medicine, and excellent client service.
Client Service Functions:
• Greeting clients and their pets, answering phones, and guiding clients through their appointment check-in and check-out process.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Recommending products and services as directed by our staff veterinarians.
• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and email correspondence.
• Hospital maintenance (including cleaning up after pets) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times, both inside and out.
