Aerotek Cnc Machine Operator in Bakersfield, California

Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CNC machine operator to join our team at a steel/PVC pipe manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the production of steel and PVC pipes. You will be measuring screen/part dimensions to ensure they are the correct size in order to the customers order specifications. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Report any quality issues to supervisors

Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, make necessary adjustments, and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime

Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machines to ensure their optimal performance and longevity

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
