ReSound IT Sourcing Manager in Ballerup, Denmark

The newly established GN Indirect Procurement team is on a transformational journey with the aim to capture a large and unrealized potential by increasing our maturity and proactivity. To fuel this journey, we are looking for an IT Sourcing Manager to strengthen our IT procurement function.

About the role

The IT Sourcing Manager will be leading own souring projects and negotiations and together with the IT Category Lead design and develop the IT Procurement function to deliver a best-in-class Procurement engagement. You will be measured on creating value for the IT department as well as solid bottom-line results.

Based in our headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, you will be part of the Global Indirect Procurement organization, reporting to VP of Indirect Procurement, Peter Vuust. Your daily work involves close cooperation with IT Category Lead, Managers and Subject Matter Expert from the IT department and the, as well as stakeholders across GN’s business units in Jabra, SteelSeries, and Hearing.

As our IT Sourcing Manager your well-assorted toolbox and experience within the IT-industry will enable you to drive GN’s ambitious Indirect Procurement agenda together with IT and to deliver strategic and operational results.

We are looking for an initiative-taking and skilled IT Sourcing Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring cost efficiency and effectiveness in the following IT-procurement activities:

  • Strong negotiation skills: You should be able to source and negotiate IT contracts and license agreements with suppliers that deliver cost savings and other benefits to the company.

  • Assess and capture opportunities: You should be able to assess opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the various IT functions. You should be able to implement initiatives that optimize demand and reduces costs.

  • Presentation skills: Supported by GNs subject matter experts you should be able to argue towards Management and stakeholder which opportunity to take and why?

  • Supplier Management: You should be able to establish and build relationships with key IT-suppliers that improves the strategic cooperation.

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have,

  • Proven experience within negotiations and a general knowledge of IT services and processes

  • Personal drive and curiosity: You should be self-motivated, committed to achieving your goals and have a strong desire to learn and grow in your role.

  • An analytical mindset: You should be able to analyze data, make informed decisions and work independently.

  • A global mind-set: You should be able to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Further to this, we hope you are proactive by nature, taking initiative with the need to be prompted. That you are not afraid to both listen and challenge when you see fit, and that you approach problems and solutions with pragmatism.
