Curtis Lumber's Operations Specialist is responsible for using specialized equipment/tools and forklifts for purposes of the gathering and staging of specific products and/or materials to safely build loads for customer deliveries. Operations specialist responsibilities require an advanced skill set to support monitoring inventory levels, stocking racks, and prepping for future orders while keeping a safe and clean working area.
Full Time 40+ hours per week
Work outside year-round
Ensure that each order is done correctly and in a timely manner.
Stage loads effectively for safe delivery ensuring loads are properly covered when required.
Keep open professional communication between supervisor and dispatch.
Maintain a neat clean working environment as well as monitoring and communicating stock levels.
Communicate with management about any problems and or complaints that may arise.
Perform pre trip inspections on forklift daily.
Inspect and maintain supplies and equipment, to ensure that all are in proper working condition.
Report any mechanical problems encountered with fork truck and associated equipment.
Safe and proper use of equipment and associated PPE to be maintained at all times.
Advanced skill set with specialized equipment/tools
Advanced product, staging, and loading knowledge
Must wear PPE
Paid weekly on Fridays
Discretionary profit share after one year of employment
