**[Position Summary: [The Construction Equipment Operator is responsible for operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, and front-end loaders to excavate and move earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction or demolition projects. Construction Equipment Operators must be able to read and interpret blueprints and plans to ensure that the equipment is operated in the correct manner. They must also be able to perform routine maintenance on the equipment to ensure that it is in good working order. This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of skill and attention to detail. A Construction Equipment Operator must be able to work independently or as part of a team and must have excellent communication skills to ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently.

• Report to work on-time, without excessive absenteeism, ready to work, and conform to the required company policies and procedures to perform work being assigned.
• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, and loaders to move materials and earth.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and drawings to determine work requirements.
• Knowledge of operating laser level equipment to ensure precise measuring, alignments, and leveling across construction tasks.
• Experience with site grading and leveling.
• Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to ensure project success.
• Operate equipment in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
• Complete daily logs and reports to track equipment usage and maintenance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
