Johns Hopkins University Communications Assistant in Baltimore, Maryland

The Institute seeks a Communications Assistant to provide project support for faculty on an as-needed, hourly basis to assist with Knowledge Map report writing and partner communications.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Writing and editing reports based on analysis of database findings.

  • Incorporating reviewers’ unit- and grade-level comments into the public-facing reports.

  • Coordinating high-level findings for findings briefs.

  • Summarizing reports for publication on the Institute’s website or to the Institute’s partner.

  • Following the Institute’s style guides and conventional rules of grammar and syntax.

  • Recommending upgrades to the writing templates as needed.

  • Additional writing and communications tasks, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.

  • Two years related experience.

  • Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Starting Salary Range: $16.20 - $28.80 HRLY ($25.00 HRLY targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)
