Kubernetes Architect
We are looking for a Kubernetes Architect engineer who can designs and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tooling using GitHub Actions / AWS Code Commit, and related technologies. This includes defining and implementing build and test pipelines for containerized architectures, infrastructure as code (IaC) for the stateful deployment of environments, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), linting and other code quality controls, gitops and Kubernetes pipelines, and managing containerized microservices deployment.
Individuals in this role will design, develop, plan and administer of AWS Kubernetes EKS clusters for critical business applications. This role will work closely with application, engineering, security and operations teams to engineer and build scalable solution using Kubernetes AWS EKS in an agile development model. Qualified applicants will have a demonstrated capability to learn new concepts quickly, and/or have robust domain expertise.
8 to 10years of experience as cloud native developer or DevOps engineer
5+ years of experience in setting up CI/CD processes to deploy containerized microservices in Kubernetes clusters in AWS environment using EC2, EKS services
Experience designing and deploying scalable, highly available, secure, and fault tolerant systems on AWS for the development and test lifecycle of our applications and products
Communicating these solutions in a professional way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborating with other engineers and members of the team using tools like git, in a secure, effective and scalable way
Good understanding of Kubernetes concepts. Experience installing Kubernetes and related tools in bare metal servers to manage highly scalable applications
Designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced and secured Kubernetes solutions
Experience in setting up Kubernetes cluster with event driven auto scaler like KEDA and Karpenter for just in time node provisioning
Experience in configuring message brokers to trigger events
Experience configuring monitoring tools like AWS Cloud Watch, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, etc
Experience grouping logs form various AWS services like lambda, API Gateway, EC2, ECS, AKS, etc from AWS Cloud Watch and storing it in data monitoring tools like ELK, Prometheus, etc.,
Experience querying data monitoring tools to create events and notifications using scripts – python, shell, groovy
Advanced Kubernetes experience
Experience in setting up CI/CD build and release pipelines using GitOps, Git workflow, AWS Code commit workflows
Highly experienced with Docker & Containers and Custom Helm charts
Top notch Linux skills
General cloud architecture experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) Preferred AWS.
General DevOps Experience a plus
Software Engineering background with c# dot net core experience is preferred
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
Release Communication and Collaboration
Security and Compliance
Experience in Python and Bodo scripts
