We are looking for Interior Engineer for CAB & Saloon

You’ll make a difference by

  • Designing and developing interior and exterior components for CAB and Saloon of metro trains, in compliance with technical train specification, the Engineering Quality Cost and Delivery commitments.

  • Taking over work packages from a senior engineer from Headquarter (HQ), related to one or more interior and exterior components.

  • Utilizing 3D CAD tools (Creo Parametric) to create and modify components of your responsibility scope.

  • Generating accurate 2D drawings and technical specifications for the fabrication and installation of mentioned components.

  • Conducting feasibility studies, ergonomic assessments, and risk analyses to identify potential issues and propose effective solutions.

  • Communicating and coordinating with a senior Engineer from the HQ

  • Demonstrating best engineering practices (example: material selection, Tolerance stack up, perceived quality, knowledge of manufacturing, serviceability, assembly,

  • Supporting in Design reviews with cross-functional teams as per project/Tender milestones and get necessary approvals for design release.

  • Experienced in fitting principles, welded joint design, gluing and surface treatments.

  • Supporting for Localization & FAI of major equipment and its sub-systems on demand and in agreement with the Senior Engineer from the HQ.

  • Preparing, following-up and verifying test procedures proposed by supplier or HQ.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field along with 5-8 years of similar experience.

  • Proven experience as a Metro Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on interior and exterior train outfitting.

  • Proficiency in 3D CAD tools, Creo Parametric, for designing and optimizing train outfitting components.

  • Strong engineering skills, including a solid understanding of materials used for interior and exterior components, such as Composite Materials, Metals, Plastic and Rubbers, Wood, Surface Coatings, etc.

  • Ability to create accurate 2D drawings and technical specifications for train outfitting.

  • Experience in interface clarification with internal and external partners to ensure seamless integration of train outfitting components.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective coordination and reporting. (English)

  • Able to work in an international & multicultural environment within a matrix organization structure.

  • Ready to travel locally and internationally as and when required by projects.
