Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled procurement specialist. To ensure seamless procurement processes, the ideal applicant will be in charge of working in tandem with many departments, such as Sales, Proposals, Project Execution, and Customer Service. Excellent communication, negotiating, and relationship-building abilities with vendors are essential for this position.

Roles and responsibility

  • Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.

  • Knowledge handling entire Procure To Pay process

  • Candidate should have Knowledge of CRCA Panels, SS Panels, X-Purge Panels, SWAS (Steam Water and Analysis System), SHS (Sample Handling System), Components such as Rotameter, Flow Meter, Needle Valve, Isolation Valve, Ball Valve, Pressure Gauge, Temperature Gauge, SS Tubings, Fittings Etc

  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.

  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements.

  • Knowledge of Negotiating Back-to-Back payment terms with suppliers based on Technical Discussion with Project Execution Team and Financial Team.

  • Handling Short Term and Long Terms Service Agreements for AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts)

  • Experience in Handling Procurement Activities related to Tenders.

  • Working with Quality Assurance/Project Team for inspection upon delivery to ensure orders are filled correctly and that goods meet specifications.

  • Developing strong relationships with key suppliers and measure suppliers’ performance based on cost, quality, delivery, and service level

  • Communicating with suppliers daily and organizing meetings with projects team as and when needed to resolve supply issues

  • Working with other internal departments such as finance, sales, and operations to resolve issues and concerns related to project orders

  • Initiating corrective actions on bad /incorrect materials and following through the resolution with suppliers

  • Researching and identifying prospective suppliers of assigned categories

  • Analyzing industry and demand trends

  • Ability to understand the BOM / Datasheet of Project Orders with Approved Vendor List

  • To guarantee on-time delivery, keep an eye on orders and manage the logistics process for the material getting dispatch from vendor & Supplies to our end customer.

  • Ability to work with internal team to provide data required for item creation in Agile for the project and Non project material’s.

  • Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve short receipts.

  • Planning, creating, and processing timely requisitions and purchase orders.

  • Tracking orders

  • Ensuring on-time deliveries

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • BE Mechanical / Instrumentation / Chemical engineer

  • 3 to 4 years of Proven procurement experience.

  • Language must: English and Hindhi (Kannada would be an Added Advantage)

  • Good Communication Skills

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with tools and software for procurement.

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Vendor Relationship management

  • Contract management

  • Analytical skills
