Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and detail oriented DLP Specialist to implement, manage, and monitor Data Loss Prevention strategies and solutions to protect sensitive information.
The ideal candidate will work closely with IT, security, compliance, and business units to identify risks, enforce policies, and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
DLP Solution Implementation, configure, deploy, and maintain DLP tools and technologies across endpoints, networks, and cloud platforms
Required technical and professional expertise
Integrate DLP solutions with existing security infrastructure. Policy Development and Enforcement.
Develop and enforce DLP policies to classify and secure sensitive data such as intellectual property, financial records, and personal information. Monitor data usage patterns and enforce data-handling best practices.
DLP Platforms: Symantec DLP, Microsoft Purview (formerly AIP), Forcepoint DLP, etc.
Endpoint Protection Solutions. SIEM tools for monitoring (e.g., Splunk, QRadar). Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) with data protection capabilities
Preferred technical and professional experience
Continuously monitor alerts and events from DLP tools to identify and respond to potential data breaches or policy violations. Conduct investigations and root-cause analysis of data loss incidents.
Collaborate with business units to identify and assess risks related to sensitive data handling. Recommend and implement measures to reduce exposure to data loss.
Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure alignment with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI DSS) and organizational security policies
