Leading a Software Engineering Team. Managing Software Development team in order to ensure software development management for the life of the project, in-line with the GKN ASPICE® compliant process for eDrive and AWD systems. Ensure software release and reporting. Enable the development team members to understand and implement the customer and project requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a Software Eng. Team

  • Execute Software development, integration and testing tasks

  • Execute Application Software development

  • Ensure Software quality

  • Support new business acquisition by requirements analysis and effort estimations.

  • Develop engineering capabilities (team competencies, methods, tools, …)

  • Support the team with Software development, integration and testing tasks

  • Support management of budget, headcount and have a good overview on CAPEX

  • Develop good working relationship with local suppliers and engineering partners

  • Foster innovation and efficient collaboration

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Engineering Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with overall 13+ years of experience and >7 years Engineering experience in embedded Automotive Software.

  • 5+ years of experience in SW Integration and SW Integration Testing.

  • A very strong technical knowhow on SW Integration and SW Integration testing.

  • Shall have worked on different SW Integration testing tools and Embedded Software Development (Design, Coding, Testing).

  • Automotive SW Know How (e.g. Communication Protocols, Diagnostics, AUTOSAR, MISRA, ...)

  • Basic Electrics, Electronics and Microcontroller

  • Know How Automotive SpiCE and ISO26262 & Cyber Security

  • Know How software Design, Development and Management tools
