The Microsoft Azure Storage Engineering team is looking for a Technical Program Manager II to work on a unique and highly visible role with major scope to identify and operationalize new storage technologies and Microsoft Azure storage hardware platforms. You will be part of a group responsible for analyzing business opportunities and recommending business investments. You will have the opportunity to work in a broad range of technical areas and integrate with multiple component teams inside Microsoft Azure as well as across the company.

Responsibilities
Building, maintaining, and enhancing the data pipeline and reporting infrastructure used for tracking utilization, deployment readiness, and rollout of Azure Storage hardware platforms.
Collaborating with other Program Managers to utilize data as a tool for extracting the insights needed to drive increased efficiencies and utilization of Storage services.
Partnering with a wide array of disciplines and teams.
With minimal supervision, you will help deliver on roadmap for feature groups, track project schedules, develop staging and implementation, and stay updated with governance programs
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines, AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
2+ years of experience in
reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos),
AND quantitative and analytical skills, able to make informed tradeoffs, and able to break down and solve complex and often ambiguous problems,
AND designing, delivering, and iterating on complex projects with a diverse set of stakeholders,
AND data-driven insights creation, strategy definition, and experimentation.
Other Qualifications:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines, AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Proficiency in Cloud technologies and services delivered by hyperscale cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google), and experience in Storage Technologies.
