Job Description:
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) regarding importation processes.
Author and maintain import related standards, procedures, and job aids.
Assist with other 3M legal entities to support them in the acquisition and maintenance of their respected Cargo Security Programs (OEA, AEO, PIP, CTPAT, etc.).
Provide support for both internal and external audits pertaining to import processes.
Maintain business process functionality for duty recovery programs.
Engage with Customs agencies as needed.
Conduct annual reviews of business unit processes and controls, activities, and data to determine overall level of compliance.
Manage valuation determinations and post summary corrections.
Manage advance manifest programs.
Screen 3M’s imports for Anti-dumping and Countervailing Duties (AD/CVD)
Manage other import matters such as customs clearance, Broker SOPs, Customs Bonds, Customs Valuation, Incoterms® and inquiries from Customs and other partnering government agencies.
