Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
The Mechanical Engineer is a part-time, on-call position who is responsible for reviewing and signing the mechanical construction design of Thailand projects.
Must be a licensed Mechanical Engineer in Thailand
Open to working on a part-time basis and on-call arrangement
Thorough knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques
Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount in reviewing and signing off on designs to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Knowledge of UFC, IBC and other relevant codes
Proficient in creating designs simple enough for local construction contractors to complete, and meet the requirements of the PWS
Excellent English communication skills and interpersonal skills
Capable of complete design services including planning and siting
Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, etc.
