The BioLife Marketing team is looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to leverage analytical planning and data-driven decisions to drive volume and profitable growth. This role will support multi-channel customer marketing initiatives and provide insights, analysis and recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness. The position will collaborate with Marketing, Operations, IT and other partners to optimize the customer journey and delivery business critical insights. The Senior Analyst will provide clear and actionable recommendations to senior leaders using statistical tools and methods. Reports to the BioLife Marketing Pricing and Promotions Lead.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze data to create and manage customer segmentation models and customer value models using demographic, behavioral and transactional data
Establish a framework to evaluate key marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns by implementing tests and tracking success criteria
Develop recommendations to optimize marketing spend to maximize ROI
Conduct analysis to identify volume growth opportunities and implement tracking of growth pilots
Leverage predictive analytics to forecast volume levels and donor fees
Perform market analysis to understand customer trends and competitive impacts
Track and evaluate donor fee spend to identify cost saving opportunities
Develop KPIs to measure impact of cross channel promotions, including email, social, mobile and digital media
Analyze data to understand the impact of the recent mobile app launch to help drive the future product roadmap
Own and execute marketing dashboards and reports to monitor performance and trends
Prepare ad-hoc analysis on critical business strategies
Manage administration for Google Analytics, ITunes, Google Play and People Metrics.
Leverage tools such as SQL, R, Qlik, and/or Tableau to extract and transform data into actionable insights
Qualifications and Experience:
Solid communication skills – comfortable interacting with key business partners of all levels -- you believe that sharing information is key to a team’s success
Background working with digital marketing
Experience with Business Intelligence software, preferably Cognos or Business Objects
Experience with statistical tools (SQL, R, Python) and visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik)
Strong MS Office skills, primarily Excel and PowerPoint
Primary market research (survey development and analysis) a plus
Understanding of CoreMetrics, Nielsen syndicated, Google Analytics, and/or ComScore is preferred
Detail oriented self-starter with the desire to work in a high pace environment
Possess the ability to see the “big picture” and pull out meaningful insights and actions
Creative thinker who also likes to be strategic.
Team player – Flexible and agile
Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
Knowledge of P&L.
Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community and with vendors.
Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience in Marketing or Analytics
High School Diploma/GED at least 5 years of experience in Marketing or Analytics
May be required to travel (10%) for business reasons
Typical work environment involves office, meeting rooms and plasma collection center settings
