Description
Robert Half currently has an opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Barberton, Ohio area and will be a long-term temporary position. In this progressive department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be expected to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.
Major responsibilities
Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Complete full-cycle A/P
Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
Provide support during internal and external audits
Provide support to internal business partners
Requirements - Strong familiarity with 3 Way Matching
Expense reports experience preferred
Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
Process Expense Reports experience
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
